Through a lot of mistake purchases, bad nights' sleeps, and keeping on trying to get it right next time, we have learnt a lot over the last 9 years of light-weight, budget wilderness travelling.

This has all come in particularly handy now that life has changed a bit, between pregnancy, and now having a little one in tow; a night's sleep is more easily disturbed; we have more that needs carried than ever before; tempers can get slightly frayed at times.
